The roller bearings to be introduced are quite different from the ordinary plane bearings. The plane bearings consist of the plane cage assembly with needle bearings or cylindrical rollers and the plane washer. The needle bearings and cylindrical rollers are maintained and guided by the plane cage.
Because the high precision cylindrical roller is selected to increase the contact length, the planar bearing can obtain high load capacity and high stiffness in a very small space. Moreover, if the adjacent parts surface is suitable for raceway surface, the washer can be omitted, which can make the design compact, reduce the edge stress and improve the service life.
For planar bearings, the planar needle roller and cage assembly are its main components. The needle roller is maintained and guided by radial bags. The grouping tolerance of high precision needle roller diameter is 0.002mm, which ensures the uniform load distribution. The cage profile has a specific shape and is formed with hardened steel strips.
In planar bearings, the planar needle roller and cage assembly are guided by a shaft, so that a relatively low circumferential velocity can be obtained even at a high speed on the guide surface. If the surface of adjacent parts is designed as raceway surface, the washer can be omitted and special space-saving support can be obtained.
Roller bearings include steel balls, rollers, rings and cages. The emphasis is on the process of rolling, the ring and soft grinding, heat treatment, soft spot, rough grinding outer diameter, rough grinding end surface, fine grinding outer diameter and final grinding outer diameter after cold upsetting of bars and wires, which are applied after passing inspection.
